On the rare occasions that I go to Starbucks or Seattle's Best (I really think expensive coffee is a luxury and an unnecessary expense for me) , I bring home the plastic cups they serve the cold drinks in. Why? The cups are sturdier than the cups fast food restaurants serve their sodas in. They are made of thicker plastic. Uses: You can use the cups for drinking cold liquids, for containing water for cooking, or for holding water to be used for brushing your teeth. If you have retainers or dentures, you can soak them there. ( I place my retainers in a Starbucks plastic cup when I need to "park" them. I just got my braces removed. )
P.S. I found another use for the "grande" plastic cup I brought home. Here in the Philippines most households have a water pail and a dipper in the bathroom. So when the dipper in the bathroom of my parents' house went missing, I told my son to just use the Starbucks plastic cup as a dipper. (This was an emergency, OK.)

bloghopping. i do too. the most we can use one thing is one less trash, right.
TumugonBurahinthanks for dropping by, photo cache. Yes, one less piece of trash it is. A sturdy plastic cup can last a long time.
