He is jealous for me,
Love's like a hurricane, I am a tree,
Bending beneath the weight of his wind and mercy.
When all of a sudden,
I am unaware of these afflictions eclipsed by glory,
And I realize just how beautiful You are,
And how great Your affections are for me.
And oh, how He loves us so,
Oh how He loves us,
How He loves us so
Yeah, He loves us,
Oh, how He loves us!
Oh! how He loves us!
Oh! how He loves!
And we are His portion and He is our prize,
Drawn to redemption by the grace in His eyes,
If His grace is an ocean, we're all sinking.
And Heaven meets earth like an unforeseen kiss,
And my heart turns violently inside of my chest,
I don't have time to maintain these regrets,
When I think about, the way...
Yeah, He loves us,
Oh, how He loves us!
Oh! how He loves us!
Oh! how He loves!

"Q & A"- a beautiful video that tugs at the heart
watch this beautiful2 video from National Public Radio
I pray more people will understand that special children need love and acceptance, not ostracizing. their parents need support, not judgment. This boy with Asperger's syndrome, a diagnosis under autism spectrum disorders, interviewed his mom on radio, and this animation was produced from the interview.

"Stool and Sputum- 120 pesos only" -wha?!?!?!
This is what happens when the sign maker (or the lab owner) decides to omit two very important words: exam and test. It's supposed to be "stool exam" and "sputum test", peeps! I took this picture myself. It was in front of a diagnostic laboratory in Quezon City.

"How to Find God in Ordinary Life"- powerpoint presentation of a message I gave
I gave this message 5/30/2010. Living a roller-coaster Christian life, with ups and downs, highs and crashes, may be due to an event-centered spirituality, where one is just a "Sunday Christian" but forgets God the rest of the week. The solution to this is to worship (worship=giving God extravagant respect) God 24/7, think of Him and His word always, and to find God in ordinary life.

Recycling A Starbucks Cold Drink Cup Part 2
Here's a use for the Starbucks cold drink plastic cup--as a mold to make ice. And a large piece of ice at that.
How to do it: Put water in it and put it in the freezer. The shape of the cup makes it easy to remove the formed ice. The Starbucks cup is sturdy so it can be reused.

Testing from the Lord
I gave this message 3/28/10 at my husband's cousin's church. This is the powerpoint presentation. I would just like to share it to my blog readers.
Usually we react to testing with fear, grief, anger, or bitterness. Instead we should face the testing knowing that it will produce perseverance and maturity in us. Every trial is an opportunity to trust God. His grace is enough for us. His power is made perfect in our weakness. Let us remember, the Lord is our Shepherd in the quiet waters and in the dark valleys. The Lord is always good even if our circumstances our not, because His goodness is part of His character.
